Director Trivikram Srinivas is the right-hand man to Pawan Kalyan. They share a very good rapport both personally and professionally. There is a talk in industry circles that Trivikram is the one who manages Pawan’s dates and also influences many of his decisions relating to movies and politics. Also, it is heard that Pawan signed ‘Bro’ despite his busy commitments only because of pressure from Trivikram. Moreover, Trivikram provided the script and the screenplay for this film.
Despite playing a significant role in shaping ‘Bro’, Trivikram didn’t appear in any of the publicity campaigns. Surprisingly, he didn’t even turn up to the pre-release event which happened last night in Hyderabad. Trivikram usually attends all film-related events of Pawan Kalyan without fail. So, his absence raised many eyebrows. Though it is rumoured that Trivikram didn’t attend the event as he is busy with Guntur Kaaram, it is not a valid excuse because the shooting is not happening now.
Reliable sources revealed that Trivikram stayed away from the event just to avoid criticism from all quarters. Trivikram has been the center of so many controversies in recent times. Mahesh Babu’s fans are venting their ire at him for delaying the project inordinately. Many are pointing out that he is busy making money by involving in other projects instead of completing his films. It is even speculated that Trivikram is not allowing Pawan Kalyan to allot dates for Harish Shankar’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Krish’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
Moreover, yesterday there was a talk that Bandla Ganesh would attend the event as one of the guests. As he is not on talking terms with Ganesh, Trivikram skipped the event to avoid sharing the dias. Also, Pawan Kalyan fans are furious with Trivikram for not coming up with good content in teasers and trailers. They are disappointed with Trivikram’s decision to go with Thaman’s music which completely failed to impress.
Many in the industry and outside feel that Pawan is blindly trusting Trivikram in so many aspects relating to films and politics. So, Trivikram has decided to put an end to these rumours by staying away from Pawan Kalyan-related activities for some time.
Despite his absence, Pawan Kalyan lavished praises on Trivikram. Pawan said he regards Trivikram as his mentor and lauded him for his contribution to Telugu cinema. He further said that Trivikram ushered in a new era in Tollywood by keeping the Telugu literature intact with his writings.
