Sunday, December 22, 2024

RRR actor Ram Charan, who is currently busy shooting for his forthcoming political action drama Game Changer, is going to speak the Uttarandhra dialect in his next film which is tentatively titled ‘RC16’. The sports drama has already grabbed the attention because of its star-studded casting and the addition of Oscar-winning tunesmith AR Rahman.

We were the first to break the exclusive news that Charan will be seen as a handicapped kabbadi player in RC16, a rustic entertainer that will have Telugu filmmaker Buchi Babu Sana calling the shots as director.

Now, it is reliably heard that Charan is taking special classes to gain perfection in Uttarandhra ascent as the story is set up in the backdrop of this particular region in Andhra Pradesh. Though it is a Telugu language, the way it is spoken differs from the rest of Telugu lingo. Hence, film stars would find it difficult to get the hang of the language when it comes to speaking in a similar way as the local people of Uttarandhra.

Previously, Charan underwent a phenomenal transformation for Sukumar’s rural drama Rangasthalam. He is once again playing an intense role laden with strong emotions in RC16. He wants to attain a good command of the language and started dedicating ample time to hone his skills. The team has roped an expert to assist Charan and the director to feed the nuances of the language.

The regular shooting of RC16 will commence in May this year. Janhvi Kapoor and Shiva Rajkumar will be seen in pivotal roles.
