#RC16 – Kannada star as Ram Charan’s coach

Meanwhile, the anticipation for his 16th film under the direction of Telugu director Buchi Babu keeps building every time there is an update or rumour on social media.

The latest buzz is that Kannada Superstar Shivaraj Kumar has been approached to play a significant role in this film. He himself informed about this development in his recent media interaction. RC16 is touted to be a gripping sports drama based on Kabbadi and Ram Charan is reportedly set to appear as a handicapped sportsman who beats all odds to achieve his goal.

Sources close to the team revealed that Shivaraj Kumar is going to portray the role of Ram Charan’s coach. It is a meaty role with great importance in the story. The character arc merits a notable face and the makers feel that Shivaraj Kumar will fit the bill perfectly.

Shivaraj Kumar is most likely to come on board very soon. His addition will be a big boost for the film’s box office prospects in Kannada.

Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi is also in talks for a pivotal character and many other prominent actors will be a part of this much-anticipated project.

RC16 is a rural sports drama that is going to be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. AR Rahman is the music composer. The filming will commence in Summer of this year.
