The sandalwood star actor, fondly called the rocking star, Yash, will be seen in a two-part mythological drama Ramayana directed by Nitesh Tiwari.
Talking about the film in a recent interview, Yash revealed the prime reason behind accepting the role of Ravana. Yash stated that Ravana is a very fascinating character who has different shades. He mentioned that the nuances of this character have a lot of scope to excel and showcase as an actor. Yash and Namit Malhotra co-produced this film. The Bollywood star actor Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Rama in this film and the Tollywood sensation Sai Pallavi plays the role of Sita.
The legendary composers A R Rahman and Hans Zimmer are working on music. This first part of the film is made with a whopping budget of 800 crores and is scheduled to hit the theatres on November 6, 2026, as the Diwali festival treat.
