Rashmika Mandanna Addresses Online Trolling, Emotional Misjudgments

Friday, December 5, 2025
Actress Rashmika Mandanna, who frequently makes headlines and remains a constant presence on social media, has opened up about dealing with trolling, gossip surrounding her personal life, and how her emotional nature is often misunderstood.
In a recent interview, Rashmika revealed that while she is an emotional and genuine person, she chooses not to express those emotions publicly. “I know I’m a very emotional person and I’m real. But I don’t prefer displaying my emotions in front of people. Many mistake my kindness for being fake or consider it a weakness. Some even assume I’m doing it for the cameras. The more honest we are, the more resistance we face,” she explained.
She emphasized that kindness is a personal choice and clarified that it hasn’t necessarily brought her any personal advantage — but she continues to choose it regardless. Speaking about dealing with negativity, she said, “I’ve faced a lot of trolling and negativity. If someone doesn’t possess kindness, they shouldn’t judge others. Let people breathe. You don’t need to suppress others to rise. Let everyone grow — there’s enough space in this world for all of us.”
Despite being subjected to online criticism, Rashmika stated that she remains focused on her path and unaffected by the noise around her.
Professionally, the actress is keeping busy with a strong lineup of films. She recently portrayed Maharani Yesubai opposite Vicky Kaushal in Chhaava, starred alongside Salman Khan in A.R. Murugadoss’ action entertainer Sikandar, and played a pivotal role in Sekhar Kammula’s Kubera. Rashmika will also be seen in the upcoming Hindi film Thama and the Telugu film The Girlfriend.
