Rangabali: Naga Shaurya bags another box office turkey

Handsome actor Naga Shaurya was very confident about the output of Rangabali. He asserted during the pre-release event and promotions that the film will be nothing short of a blockbuster. Unfortunately, the film failed to secure even minimal openings after its release last Friday.

Rangabali took a disastrous start at the box office in all territories. Despite solid promotions and impressive teasers and trailers, the film failed to make a noticeable impact at the ticket windows. Though the film is packed with thorough entertainment, the narration veered off in the second half and it proved to be a decisive factor in the overall output.

Naga Shaurya and his team are very disappointed with the verdict. During the press meet after the film’s release, Shaurya was visibly upset while interacting with the media. He seems to be exasperated with the outright rejection despite delivering a wholesome entertainer.

Rangabali joins the string of flops in Shaurya’s career. After Oohalu Gusagusalade, he didn’t score a promising hit. Some films secured average talk but couldn’t give him the much-needed break. All his recent offerings left no trace at the box office.

Up next, he has films like Nari Nari Naduma Murari and Police Vari Hecharika. He will need to change his strategy and select commercially viable scripts to come out of this flop streak.
