Tollywood star Rana Daggubati, known for his imposing roles on screen, showcased a different side of himself today. At the IIFA Awards 2024 press conference in Mumbai, Rana paid a heartfelt tribute to Bollywood icons by touching the feet of Shah Rukh Khan.
The press event, attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Rana Daggubati, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Abhishek Banerjee, was a blend of glamour and respect. Shah Rukh Khan took the stage to announce the lineup of stars performing at the awards night, including Shahid Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Jahnvi Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and the legendary Rekha.
When Rana was called upon by Shah Rukh and Karan, he humbly touched their feet and remarked, “We are fully South Indian. That’s how we do it!” This gesture of reverence added a special touch to the event.
The IIFA Awards 2024, set to take place from September 27 to 29 at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE, will celebrate the finest of not just Hindi cinema but also Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu films.
