Renowned director Puri Jagannadh is preparing for a potential comeback from his next ‘Double Ismart’, starring Ram Pothineni as the main lead. Earlier, Double Ismart halted its film production for months, and now the film resumes shooting in Mumbai today.
Ram Pothineni is gearing up for the next schedule of his upcoming action-packed thriller in Mumbai. Adding this update, Charmme Kaur took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures from the sets of ‘Double Ismart’ and wrote, “To an amazing schedule… With the blessings of Ganesha.”
The film is a sequel to 2019’s blockbuster film ‘Ismart Shankar’, which garnered critical and commercial acclaim. Helmed by Puri Jagannadh, who is known for his unique storytelling and directorial style, Double Ismart promises to deliver twice the action, intensity, and entertainment compared to its prequel.
Adding to the anticipation, the film stars Sanjay Dutt as the main antagonist. Actress Kavya Thapar plays the female lead alongside Ram. Mani Sharma’s musical adds another layer to the film’s cinematic experience. Gianni Giannelli handles the film’s cinematography. The film is slated for a pan-India release, hitting screens in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. The makers have yet to announce the film’s release date.
Speaking more about Ram Pothineni’s professional commitments, the actor was last seen in ‘Skanda’, helmed by action director Boyapati Srinu, which became a box-office bomb.
