Reigning Tollywood star Ram Charan attained pan-India popularity with SS Rajamouli’s patriotic drama RRR. He won plaudits for essaying the role of dauntless freedom fighter Alluri Sita Rama Raju. With the confidence gained from the success of RRR, Charan’s appetite for real-life characters has considerably grown. He is now looking for more such roles which can give a big fillip to his career further and expand his fan base.
According to the latest reports, Charan is going to play the role of a tribal sportsman in his next film with Uppena director Buchi Babu Sana. It is a known fact that RC16 will be an intense sports drama in which the RRR actor will appear in a never-before-seen character. Sources revealed that Charan’s character is inspired by a true incident and it will be a gripping story weaved around his emotional journey. The remaining details of the character are kept under wraps as of now.
Charan will undergo tremendous transformation for this role. He will sport a long hair and thick beard. Once he is done with his upcoming social thriller Game Changer, Charan will shift his focus onto RC16. The regular shooting will commence from August or September. Jahnvi Kapoor will romance Charan in this untitled film.
