After RRR, Ram Charan is trying to consolidate his pan-India charisma by choosing versatile and performance-oriented roles. Up next, he will be seen in dual roles in director Shankar’s forthcoming social drama ‘Game Changer’. After this film, Charan will join forces with Uppena fame director Buchi Babu for an intense sports drama. The Rangasthalam actor himself revealed that he will be seen in a fervent role in this film which is tentatively titled #RC16 ( Working title).
We at Andhrawatch heard from an exclusive source that Charan will be seen as a double amputee in this sports drama which will have a good dose of action elements. Buchi Babu penned a hard-hitting drama laced around a popular sport and the lead protagonist will appear as a disabled person who beats all odds to achieve his ultimate goal. Though it is a sports-based film, there will be plenty of drama and action that will cut across different sections of moviegoers.
Buchi Babu initially approached NTR with the same script. After repeated discussions, NTR turned down the offer. So, he then narrated the same story to Ram Charan and got a nod. The regular shooting will commence in September this year.
Mythri Movie Makers, Sukumar Writings and Vriddhi Cinemas will jointly bankroll the film. The cast and crew will be announced very soon.
