Global star Ram Charan heads to London for the grand unveiling of his wax statue at Madame Tussauds. The actor was recently spotted at Hyderabad airport leaving for London. Here are the details:
Joining the prestigious elite list of Indian celebrities honored at Madame Tussauds London, Ram Charan’s wax statue will be unveiled on Friday, May 9, at 6:15 PM local time in London. For the special occasion, Ram Charan left for the UK on Monday, dressed in style, wearing a jacket over a black t-shirt, accessorized with a cap, sporting his long beard and long hair.
He will be accompanied at the event by his wife, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, and daughter Klin Kaara. His parents, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Surekha, are also expected to attend. Following the event, the statue will be relocated to its permanent home at Madame Tussauds Singapore.
What makes this statue truly special is the inclusion of Ram Charan’s pet dog, Rhyme, making it only the second time a celebrity’s pet has been featured in a Madame Tussauds statue, following Queen Elizabeth II with her Corgi.
The celebration continues with the mega family attending a live orchestra performance of RRR at the iconic Royal Albert Hall on Sunday, May 11. The other cast and crew members of RRR, including Jr. NTR, SS Rajamouli, and MM Keeravani, will be present for the celebration.
On the work front, Ram Charan is gearing up for his highly anticipated next ‘Peddi’, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Bollywood beauty Janhvi Kapoor is the female lead alongside him, marking their first collaboration. The film is all set for a theatrical release on March 27 next year.
