Ram Charan calls his director a ‘Game Changer’

After the soaring success of RRR, actor Ram Charan teamed up with celebrated filmmaker Shankar Shanmugam for a political drama laced with a strong social message. Titled Game Changer, the film has been in the making for more than two years now. The RRR actor will be seen in dual roles in this much-anticipated film which is likely to hit the screens in the first half of 2024.

Shankar completed three decades as a director since his debut in 1993 with Arjun’s Gentleman. On this occasion, Charan took to Twitter to laud Shankar as a true ‘Game Changer’ in the Indian film industry. He congratulated him for the successful journey and said more exemplary work and accolades await Shankar. He posted an image in which the Robot director is seen sitting on a chair with a focused look. Posters of all his films are depicted in the background.

Shankar is one of the high-profile directors in India. He has a penchant for delivering solid messages to the public through his films by dealing with social issues while keeping the commercial formula intact. He scored blockbusters with films like Jeans, Indian, Robot, Boys and Aparichitudu. He also has a reputation for making use of sophisticated technology in his films.
