It is known that the Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth celebrated his 72nd birthday on December 12. To mark this birthday even more special to his fans, the makers of Jailer released a teaser video of Rajinikanth as Muthuvel Pandian from the film.

Speaking more about Jailer, the film is written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar while Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures is producing it. Starring Rajinikanth in the lead role, Jailer also roped in star actors like Shiva Rajkumar, Vasanth Raj, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vinayakan and others in supporting roles.
On the other hand, the film’s background music and title score are composed by the south music sensation Anirudh Ravichander while cinematography and editing were handled by Vijay Karthik Kannan and R. Nirmal respectively.
Jailer which is initially filmed under the working title of Thalaivar169 is ready to entertain the audience and moviegoers on April 14 of next year.
