S.S. Rajamouli keeps on raising the bar for Telugu cinema on the international map. Following the thunderous overseas success of RRR, the movie is now ready to take its place at a grand live music concert at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London an achievement of unparalleled pride for Indian cinema.
This one-of-a-kind event will feature the pulse-pounding soundtrack of RRR, composed by the iconic M.M. Keeravaani, performed live by the legendary Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. The show will be conducted by Ben Pope, making it an international musical celebration. Interestingly, Rajamouli himself is familiar with this grand theatre — he created history in 2019 when Baahubali 2 was screened there with a live score, being the first Indian film to be accorded that privilege.
Topping the night off with star power, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu will be present at the concert as the special guest of honor. The actor is presently collaborating with Rajamouli on the much-awaited pan-Indian adventure movie SSMB29. Also present with him at the event are RRR lead stars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, making this a rare and unforgettable confluence of three of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars on an international platform.
Ram Charan, who is in London to unveil his wax figure at Madame Tussauds, is all ready to join the musical extravaganza. Jr. NTR too has confirmed his attendance, and fans are in for a fairy-tale evening.
With the global acclaim RRR has garnered — particularly for the Academy Award-winning song “Naatu Naatu” — the live concert promises to attract music enthusiasts and cinema aficionados from all over the world. The event is not merely a salute to a movie’s music; it’s a forceful cultural moment that emphasizes the growing global status of Telugu cinema.
