India’s master craftsman SS Rajamouli has been maintaining radio silence over his much awaited 1000 Crore project with Superstar Mahesh Babu all these days. Though the makers unofficially launched this highly anticipated film in Hyderabad a few days ago and rumours are rife that Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra completed a look test for her role beside Mahesh Babu, there has been no single update so far from the team.
Rajamouli now came up with a post on his Instagram page which has become a talking point all over the media. The RRR director posted a brief video in which was seen holding a passport with a huge lion caged in the backdrop. His wry smile and the music hints that he seized Mahesh Babu’s passport and locked him from going on personal tours anymore until completing SSMB29. Mahesh Babu reacted with his iconic Pokiri dialogue ‘Okasari Commit Ayithe Naa Maata Nene Vinanu’ (I wont even listen to myself once I commit)
Mahesh Babu is a travel freak and embarks on vacations very often with his family. He is frequently sighted at airports during shooting breaks and gaps between his films. On the other hand, Rajamouli is known for taking undue time for completing his films due to their extensive production formalities.
So, Mahesh Babu will have a tough time to dedicate himself to a workaholic like Rajamouli. He will need to forego all his personal plans until he wraps up the entire shooting of SSMB29. Earlier, actors like Prabhas, NTR and Charan experienced a similar situation working with Rajamouli. Now, it is Mahesh Babu’s turn.
Priyanka Chopra also reacted to the post and it is now confirmed that she is also a part of this crazy combination. The comments section is getting filled with responses from Mahesh Babu’s fans. They are finally happy that Rajamouli has locked him for a considerable time and will commence the regular shooting.
SSMB29 is billed as a globe-trotting adventure drama with a mythological touch. It is touted to be the costliest Indian film till date and will feature several international stars.
