After drawing the attention of global audience with his swashbuckling patriotic drama RRR in 2022, India’s biggest filmmaker SS Rajamouli is gearing up to kick start the shooting formalities of his next outing after a gap of two years. As revealed earlier, he will direct Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu in a globe trotting action adventure worth 1000 Crores budget. The film is tentatively titled SSMB29 by the makers.
Though this highly anticipated project was formally announced long back, the launch has been delayed due to the extensive pre-production activities owing to its mammoth budget and huge standards. There are reports that Rajamouli wants to mount this as an international film with high technical standards and huge star cast from different countries across the globe.
As per the latest reports in media circles, SSMB29 is likely to be launched in August. The regular shooting will kick off simultaneously in Hyderabad. At present, Mahesh Babu is undergoing look change for this film. He will be seen as an adventurer who travels different countries in pursuit of his ambitious goal. He will sport long hair and a thin beard with a manly look.
Rajamouli is planning to conduct a look test on Mahesh Babu before starting the shooting formalities. Oscar winning composer MM Keeravani is going to start the music sessions next month.
