The 2013 romantic blockbuster Raja Rani is one of the best and most prominent films of the South Lady superstar Nayanthara. Directed by Atlee, the film features Nayanthara, Jai, Arya and Nazriya Nazim Fahadh in the lead roles.
The epic storyline, songs, and the lead pair’s on-screen chemistry attracted the attention of the audience and emerged as a blockbuster at the box office. Now, taking us back to the Raja Rani days once again, Nayanthara and Jai are collaborating a decade later for an upcoming film.
The film was officially announced earlier today by the team unit with a new poster featuring Jai, as it marks the actor’s birthday. Tentatively titled Lady Superstar 75 marks Nayanthara’s 75th film in the industry. The film is directed by the debutant Nilesh Krishna who previously worked as an assistant director under the popular filmmaker S. Shankar.
Reportedly, the film is jointly bankrolled by Zee Studios, Trident Arts, and Naad Studios. Speaking about the film’s crew and technicians, Sathyaraj and Redin Kingsley will be portrayed in key roles while cinematography is handled by Dinesh Krishnan. No details about the film’s music director have been made yet.
