The most-awaited single ‘Pushpa Pushpa’ from the most-anticipated film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, helmed by Maverick director Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun in the lead, was recently released. Set to be released on August 15, the film is already creating waves and smashing all-time records even before its release.
Within the release of 24 hours, the first single, ‘Pushpa Pushpa’, became the most viewed lyrical video in 24 hours in India. Devi Sri Prasad’s musical creation amassed an impressive 40 million real-time views on YouTube and 26.6 million updated views.
Featuring the icon star delivering the shoe-drop hook step, the song has garnered 1.27 million likes and remains a trending sensation in 15 countries. The song ‘Pushpa Pushpa’ also became the first ever song to trend worldwide across 6 languages.
Dropping the same, the makers took to their social media handles and wrote, “#PushpaPushpa is most viewed lyrical video in 24 hours in India. #Pushpa2FirstSingle is a WORLDWIDE CHARTBUSTER.”
Under the musical direction of Devi Sri Prasad and the visually striking lyrical video of ‘Pushpa Pushpa’ with Allu Arjun’s style and swag under the dance composition of Vijay Polaki, Srashti Verma, and Prem Rakshit, the song became a chart-topping chant to smash all the records.
Speaking more about it, the first single was penned by renowned lyricist Chandra Bose for the Telugu version, with vocals by Nakash Aziz and Deepak Blue. The song was released in six languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and Bengali.
