The solid impact created by Allu Arjun’s crime thriller ‘Pushpa’ has resulted in a tremendous buzz for its sequel all over the nation. As per expectations, Pushpa : The Rule is set take the box office by a storm on December 5th with an earth-shattering opening across all territories. Due to the unmatchable hype on the film, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to reach the expectations with all their efforts to ensure a huge release worldwide.
Reportedly, Pushpa 2 will release in nearly 11,500 Screens on the first day to set a new pan-India record for any Indian film till date. While the domestic release will be in 6,500 screens, the overseas count is going to be in 5000 screens. This is the biggest ever release in the history as it will surpass the screens of Baahubali 2 and RRR.
Pushpa 2 is likely to be the first Indian film to clock 250 Crores gross on the first day and create a new record by a long chalk going by the current buzz in trade circles. The Sukumar directional will challenge the box office records of SS Rajamouli’s films and set to overtake many of them if it manages to garner positive word of mouth.
The teaser and the two songs generated significant buzz on the film. The shooting formalities are nearing completion and the theatrical trailer is expected to amp up the expectations further after its release in November. Allu Arjun’s character will be more electrifying and intense than the first part. His face-off with Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat will be the USP for the sequel.
Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead and Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the soundtrack for the sequel. Mythri Movie Makers is bankrolling the film.
