With the intervention of Tollywood producer and Film Development Corporation chairman Dil Raju, the controversy surrounding Pushpa 2 stampede incident seems to be reaching a settlement as the victim’s family is getting complete assurance from Allu Arjun and the production house.
After Revanth Reddy’s statements and backlash in the public, Tollywood seems to have realised the mistake and immediately started making amends. Already, several donations were announced for the bereaved family. Allu Arjun immediately assured 25 lakhs support and Sukumar handed over 5 lakhs. Mythri Movie Makers gave 50 lakhs cheque yesterday and assured to look after the kid. Dil Raju also promised a job to Revathi’s husband.
On Wednesday, Allu Arjun’s father and producer Allu Arvind once again visited the hospital along with Dil Raju and Mythri producers. He announced that total 2 Crores will be given as ex-gratia to the victim’s family. Allu Arjun will contribute 1 Crore and Sukumar will donate 50 lakhs on their part. The producers already gave 50 lakhs yesterday. So, the total donation will amount to 2 Crores.
Allu Arvind stated that the kid is recovering well and is out of danger and the ventilator support was also removed. He thanked Dil Raju for coordinating with the family as Allu Arjun could interfere due to the legal case.
Yesterday, Allu Arjun attended police enquiry in connection with the case in which he was A11. Total 18 people were booked for the incident and Allu Arjun was arrested a few days ago and was released on bail. The investigation is on and further trail might happen in the coming days.
