As expected, the first glimpse of Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa: The Rule labelled as ‘Where is Pushpa’, which was unveiled on Friday, packed a solid punch on social media and created a strong impact in all languages with record-breaking views. The three-minute riveting teaser cut giving a sneak peek into the world of Pushpa Raj created by director Sukumar succeeded in hitting the right notes as the response has been quite phenomenal across all territories.
The concept teaser glimpse stormed YouTube with more than 50+ million views in less than a day. Surprisingly, the Hindi version of the teaser clocked far more views than the Telugu version and this is a testament to the craze the second part is carrying in the North circuit. The blockbuster success of the first part is another reason for such a massive reception there. The Hindi teaser garnered close to 30 million views and the Telugu version secured 20+ million views. The response from Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions is equally good with close to another 5+ million views combined.
The teaser also amassed 2 million likes( across all languages) in no time and is currently trending in first place on YouTube. Allu Arjun’s swag and the intense set-up helped the teaser generate a positive buzz on the film. The hype on the second part has now shot through the roof and trade circles are expecting an earth-shattering box office opening across the country whenever it releases.
The shooting formalities of Pushpa 2 are progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad. The team is planning to move abroad very soon to can some crucial scenes in the story. Rashmika Mandanna is the female lead and Devi Sri Prasad is rendering the soundtrack. Mythri Movie Makers is the production house behind this tentpole pan-India film.
