Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is the most anticipated and most-awaited film this year. As fans eagerly anticipate its release in August, the makers have now announced a new release date.
Amid earlier speculations of a delay, the filmmakers have clarified the situation by officially announcing the postponement.
Dropping the same on their social media handles, the makers shared a new poster featuring Icon star Allu Arjun in a rugged, massy look. Along with the poster, they wrote, “We intend to give you the best. The wait increases for a memorable experience on the big screens. #Pushpa2TheRule Grand release worldwide on 6th DECEMBER 2024. His rule will be phenomenal. His rule will be unprecedented.”
Initially slated for release on August 15, the release has been postponed due to delays in the shooting schedule. In conjunction with the new release date announcement, the makers issued a special note explaining the reason for the delay and expressing gratitude to fans, audiences, and partners for their patience, understanding, and support.Earlier, two tracks and the teaser from the film were released, garnering an overwhelmingly positive global response, breaking multiple records, and becoming chart-topping hits.
Helmed by Maverick director Sukumar, the film is backed by the prestigious production house, Mythri Movie Makers. The film also has Malayalam-renowned actor Fahadh Faasil, along with Anasuya, Sunil, Rao Ramesh, and others in pivotal roles.
