Sithara Entertainments has solidly positioned itself as one of the most successful production houses of Tollywood, with a string of hit films at an incredible rate. Led by producer Naga Vamsi, the banner has earned a reputation for quality and box-office success. Their next release, Mad², is scheduled to hit theaters on March 28, competing with star-studded films such as Robin Hood, L2: Empuraan, and Veera Dheera Sooran Part 2. The team is optimistic about the appeal of their own film despite such stiff competition.
During a recent promotional conversation, instead of a traditional media session, the creators chose a no-holds-barred dialogue with the top actor of this movie. Throughout this interesting interview, the discussion on Sithara Entertainments’ much-awaited 50th movie arose—a milestone for any production company.
Actor Sangeeth Shobhan put forward a very interesting question: In case they are given an option between Pawan Kalyan and Jr NTR for this historic project, whom would Sithara want to be paired with?
Naga Vamsi’s response was both practical and insightful. While acknowledging Pawan Kalyan’s legendary status in the industry, he pointed out that the power star has now stepped into a much larger role—serving the people through politics. With growing responsibilities as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and his leadership role in the Jana Sena Party, Pawan Kalyan’s primary focus is now on governance rather than cinema.
Keeping this in mind, Vamsi opined that if the decision had to be made, Jr NTR would be the best choice for Sithara’s 50th film. His justification was evident—Pawan Kalyan is already finding it difficult to fit in his current film commitments because of his hectic political life, so it is almost next to impossible to embark on new ventures. At the same time, Jr NTR is still busy with films and is a commercial banner with an enormous fan following.
With Sithara Entertainments hoping to make their 50th venture a huge success, Jr NTR stands out as the more practical and feasible option. Even the most staunch fans of both actors would concur that, currently, NTR is the best fit for the coveted role in such an esteemed film.
