Hollywood star Prithviraj Sukumaran has recently confirmed working in SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated next, tentatively titled ‘SSMB 29.’
Ever since SS Rajamouli announced his collaboration with superstar Mahesh Babu, excitement around the venture has been raised, fueled by its stellar cast and ongoing speculation. While the makers have kept most details under wraps, continuous leaked photos and videos from the set have created a buzz online. Recently, images of Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj traveling together to Odisha surfaced online, followed by glimpses of the team wrapping up the first shooting schedule there, with Priyanka Chopra also spotted joining the crew.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj, who is currently promoting his upcoming film ‘L2: Empuraan’ with Mohan Lal, addressed the buzz in an interview with Pinkvilla. Initially brushing off the rumors and joking that his Odisha trip with Mahesh Babu was just a sightseeing adventure, he eventually admitted to being part of the project.
When asked about working on a film with SS Rajamouli, the Malayalam actor humorously responded, “Really?” The interviewer then mentioned his appearance with Mahesh Babu, to which Prithviraj replied, “I went for sightseeing to Odisha with Mahesh Babu. Since a video and some photographs have been leaked, I can’t really say that I went there for sightseeing. Hopefully very soon we will be able to talk about the film. It’s been more than a year since I’ve been part of the project. We’ve slowly been working towards it.”
