Prashanth Neel waiting for Prabhas or NTR ?

Kannada hotshot director Prashanth Neel redefined the action genre in his very own style with films like KGF and Salaar. In a very short span, he emerged as one of the biggest pan-India directors because his last three outings amassed hundreds of crores at the worldwide box office.

A solid lineup of films is on the horizon for Neel because he has already committed to work with some of the leading actors in South India in the next few years. A film with NTR was announced two years back. The second part of Salaar also needs to be completed before he moves on to his future commitments. So, Neel is currently playing a waiting game.

He was supposed to kick start NTR’s project immediately after wrapping up Salaar. But, the idea to make the film in two parts changed his plans. Earlier there were reports that he would first complete NTR’s film and then shift his focus towards Salaar 2. However, there is no clarity on which way will Neel go. It has already been nearly two months since the release of Salaar, but there is no official news about any these two projects.

Prabhas is currently busy with his upcoming release Kalki. He might need to work on it for another two months. Whenever he gets time, he will complete Maruthi’s ‘ Rajasaab ‘. On the other side, NTR is thoroughly involved in his next film Devara. After completing it, he will need to start shooting for War 2 with Hrithik Roshan.

As both Prabhas and NTR are busy with their respective projects, Neel has no other option but to wait for either of them to be available for him. As of now, he is keeping mum about his next step. It would be interesting to see which one will he prefer as his immediate next project, NTR31 or Salaar ?
