After attaining pan-India popularity with the astronomical success of Baahubali, many expected that Prabhas would do films only with top-league directors. But, his selection of movies came as a big surprise to everyone because he chose to work with inexperienced medium-range directors like Sujeeth and Radha Krishna.
Besides signing films like Salaar and Kalki 2898AD, Prabhas also green-signalled an interesting script narrated by Telugu director Maruthi. It is billed as a full-length entertainer with horror elements. The regular shooting kicked off long back, but it has been progressing at a slow pace because Prabhas is occupied with other projects.
Surprisingly, the makers of this untitled film announced that the first look poster and title will be revealed on Pongal. This is an unexpected announcement as there have been no updates from the team so far after the project went on floors. Prabhas fans will be thrilled with this treat during the festival season.
The production house unveiled a colourful poster featuring a silhouette resembling the sketch of Prabhas’ character in the film. The Salaar actor will be seen in a completely humourous role which is a contrast to what he has been doing after Baahubali.
Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar and Nidhi Aggarwal are the female leads and Sanjay Dutt plays a significant role. People Media Factory is producing it.
Several titles like Raja Deluxe, Ambassador, Royal and Raja Saab made rounds in media circles. But, the makers remained tight-lipped about the title. We have to wait for a couple of weeks to end this suspense.
