Alongside his leading roles in upcoming projects, Pan-India star Prabhas is set to appear in a substantial guest role in the high-profile film Kannappa. Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, known for the acclaimed TV serial Mahabharat, the film is a dream project for Manchu Vishnu and features a star-studded ensemble cast across India.
Initially considered for a brief cameo as the character Rudra, Prabhas’s role has expanded significantly. Sources confirm that he will feature for approximately 30 minutes, including a powerful confrontation scene with veteran actor Mohan Babu, highlighting his screen presence.
With its large-scale production and prominent cast, Kannappa aims to leverage Prabhas’s pan-India appeal while delivering a compelling narrative. The film is one of the highly anticipated releases this year.
