‘Kalki’ release date with teaser soon

The box office performance of ‘Salaar: Part 1 Cease Fire’ has come as a big relief for pan-India superstar Prabhas as he has been desperately trying to score a big hit after ‘Baahubali 2’. Though the film has not been declared a unanimous blockbuster by trade circles, Prabhas is content with the reception. He happily took part in the success meet that was held recently.

As audience await the release of the second part, Prabhas will have a couple of other films in between. One of his upcoming films that has been the cynosure of everyone since its launch is Kalki 2898AD, a dystopian science fiction thriller that is being made on par with international standards on an extravagant budget.

The Naga Ashwin directional, as per the latest buzz, is likely to release worldwide on May 9th, 2024. Reports suggest that the production house has locked this iconic date as some of its prestigious films in the past released exactly on the same date and emerged as blockbuster hits.

Films like Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari, Mahanati and Maharshi produced by Vyjayanthi Movies Banner released on the same date. So, they have now decided to lock May 9th for Kalki 2898AD. An official announcement regarding the release date will made during the Sankranti festival with a new teaser.

Kalki 2898AD made a strong statement after the team gave a sneak peek into the dystopian world with a spectacular first glimpse that boasted Hollywood range technical values. It has an ensemble cast in the form of Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani.

Summer will be an ideal season for a big-ticket film like Kalki as it will need a long run to recoup the massive budget.
