Tollywood actor and pan-India superstar Prabhas Uppalapati, who garnered popularity across the country with films like Baahubali and Adipurush, is the latest celebrity to be invited for the historic Ram Lalla pran pratishtha ( consecration) to be held in Ayodhya on January 22nd.
As per reliable reports, Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which is overseeing the arrangements for this epic and monumental event, has sent an invitation to Prabhas to grace the occasion which will be attended by numerous dignitaries from different spectrums along with thousands of seers all over the country.
Prabhas is the second prominent personality from Tollywood after Megastar Chiranjeevi to get an invite from the organisers. Others filmstars who were invited for this event include Rajinikanth, Amithabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt to make a few.
It is pertinent to mention that Prabhas appeared as Lord Ram in his previous film Adipurush directed by Om Raut. The film evoked a mixed response from the audience. It is not yet confirm whether Prabhas will attend this grand event or not.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the chief guest at the event, will perform the final ritual at the Ram temple’s sanctum sanctorum at around 12.15pm during the pran pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla.
