Prabhas’ director in a big dilemma over title

Besides doing expensive and extravagant films like Salaar and Project K, Baahubali actor Prabhas is also working on a full-length humorous drama with Telugu filmmaker Maruthi, a mid-range director who is known for dishing out comedy capers. The untitled film is touted to be a horror comedy which presents Prabhas in a hitherto new dimension and it is going to be thoroughly entertaining.

Reportedly, Maruthi is in a big dilemma over fixing an apt title for this film. After Baahubali, Prabhas started doing only pan-India films. Each of his upcoming films is carrying massive expectations all over. So, the title must be a universal one for Maruthi’s film as well. Salaar, Project K, and Spirit have already gained a lot of craze in all territories. Now, Maruthi’s film will also require a fitting title like these biggies to match the hype in the audience.

Recently, there were reports that the makers are considering ‘Royal’ and ‘Raja Saab’ as potential titles. Earlier, it was Raja Deluxe which was speculated as the tentative title. Close sources to Maruthi revealed that none of these titles is fixed so far. So, the wait for an appealing title will be longer than expected for this film.

Meanwhile, the filming is expected to resume in August. Prabhas intends to complete the entire shooting part by December. The film is likely to hit the screens in mid-2024.
