Renowned actor Suriya is all set to feature in Karthik Subbaraj’s next venture, which is tentatively titled Suriya 44. Earlier, the actor officially announced their first collaboration with a poster and tagline, Love Laughter War. Recent reports suggest that Pooja Hegde will be the leading lady of Suriya 44.
According to the latest reports, Pooja Hegde is set to join Suriya and Karthik Subbaraj’s upcoming film. If this is true, it will be the third Tamil movie.
It is expected that the film will commence shooting in the first week of June. It is reported that the schedule is for 40 long days in the Andaman Islands.
Speaking more about ‘Suriya 44’, the movie is directed by Karthik Subbaraj and backed by Rajsekhar Pandian and Kartheekeyan Santhanam in a joint venture between 2D Entertainments and Stone Bench Films. Malayalam actor Joju George will also play a significant role in this flick.
Speaking of Suriya’s professional endeavors, the actor is currently working on his highly anticipated film ‘Kanguva’, helmed by Siruthai Siva. The film stars Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, and others in pivotal roles. Suriya is in full swing with his lineup, including Kanguva, ‘Purananooru’ with Sudha Kongara, Vetrimaaran’s ‘VaadiVaasal’, ‘IrumbuKaiMaayavi’, and another film with Lokesh Kanagaraj titled ‘Rolex StandAlone’.
Meanwhile, it has been quite a while since Pooja Hegde appeared in South Indian films. The actress was last seen in Vijay Thalapathy’s ‘Beast’ in Tamil cinemas. Pooja is currently working on her next Bollywood film, ‘Sanki’, pairing opposite Ahan Shetty. She will also appear in another Bollywood film, ‘Deva’ alongside Shahid Kapoor.
