Pooja Hegde gets ignored by Tollywood

Once a reigning actress of Tollywood, Pooja Hegde is now getting completely ignored. A few years ago, she was the go-to heroine for the current generation’s top heroes. She shared screen space with top-tier actors like NTR, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, and Prabhas. She was considered a lucky charm for producers. Unfortunately, she is no longer in consideration for any of the upcoming films.

Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram was supposed to be her comeback film. But, she took an unceremonious exit due to some personal reasons. She was considered for Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film Ustaad Bhagat Singh as well. Due to unknown reasons, Pooja didn’t make the cut. Her pan-India film Jana Gana Mana with Vijay Devarakonda was scrapped last year. She has got no big-ticket offers right now in South India. Even her Bollywood dreams crashed as films like Cirkus and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ka Jaan tanked heavily at the box office.

Pooja was a favourite for directors like Trivikram Srinivas and Harish Shankar. Even they left her out from their upcoming projects which is so discouraging for her. Her career in Tollywood is more or less coming to an end unless there is a miraculous comeback because of the heavy competition right now with the advent of new heroines.
