Hyderabad: Former minister and BRS Medchal MLA Chamakura Malla Reddy faces a land grabbing case as police respond to complaints from tribals regarding encroachment on their land. The complaint, filed by Bhikshapathi at Shameerpet police station, alleges that Malla Reddy unlawfully acquired 47 acres of tribal land at Keshavapuram in Medchal district’s Muthuchintalapalli mandal.
The complaint further claims that the land registration occurred overnight during the elections. Shameerpet police have initiated an investigation, registering a case against Malla Reddy under four sections. The ongoing inquiry will delve into the allegations surrounding the land encroachment.
