Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Mangalagiri today, joined by dignitaries including Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer and several Union Ministers. The AIIMS, spread across 183 acres, features 960 beds and 125 medical seats, representing a significant addition to the region’s healthcare infrastructure. The project, costing Rs. 1618 crores, encompasses various facilities such as academic and hospital blocks, residential complexes, and administrative buildings. Additionally, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for nine critical care blocks, marking a significant step towards bolstering healthcare services in the area.
