One of the power couples of the south Ajith Kumar and Shalini celebrated their 23 of their togetherness on Monday (April 24). The former actress who is active on social media took to her Instagram handle and dropped a lovely picture from their anniversary celebrations.
Sharing the pic, Shalini wrote- ’23yrs.’ The adorable picture which seems to have clicked post the cake-cutting ceremony showed Shalini and Ajith together as they were sharing a warm hug.
In the picture, we can see Shalini looking stunningly beautiful in a strap shimmery gown, which she paired with minimal accessories and open hair, while the Vedalam actor looked devilishly handsome in a formal shirt, and his signature silver hair and thick beard look.
We all know that Ajith and Shalini met on the sets of their blockbuster film Amarkaam and fell for each other during the filming. After dating for a while, the couple tied the knot in 2000 and welcomed their daughter Anoushka Kumar in 2008 and their son Aadvik Kumar in 2015.
Speaking about work commitments, Ajith was last seen in Thunivu under H. Vinoth’s direction thus marking their third collaboration after Nerkonda Paarvai and Valimai. The action heist managed to mint huge numbers at the box office and emerged as a blockbuster.
Meanwhile, Ajith has also signed his next project AK62. However, the film was postponed due to the sudden demise of his father P. Subramaniam in March of this year.
