Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s highly anticipated gangster drama ‘OG’ under the direction of Saaho fame Sujeeth is likely to unspool in theatres on September 27th this year. The makers of OG have officially announced the release date all of a sudden though the shooting formalities are currently on hold due to the unavailability of Pawan Kalyan as he is busy with his political activities. The remaining portion will be wrapped up after assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh.
It seems like the makers wanted to lock the release date well in advance to take advantage of the Gandhi Jayanti holiday on October 2nd. Hence, they made the announcement quite unexpectedly. They have informed the trade circles in all territories to lock the date. This is the same date on which Pawan Kalyan’s last blockbuster Attarintiki Daredi released and turned out to be a blockbuster.
OG is only one of the most awaited regional films this year because it has the potential to take the box office by storm due to the massive hype among Pawan Kalyan’s fans. The scintillating teaser filled with adrenaline-pumping scenes and Pawan Kalyan’s fiery screen presence has further augmented the expectations of the film.
OG stars Priyanka Arul Mohan and Emran Hashmi in pivotal roles. SS Thaman is the music composer and DVV Danayya is bankrolling the film on a grand scale.
