A wild unfounded news about Pawan Kalyan’s crazy project ‘ OG ‘, the filming of which was partially completed a few months ago, surfaced in media circles yesterday evening and spread rapidly, leaving his fans in a spot of bother.
According to these rumours, current producer DVV Danayya decided to back out from the project as he felt that it was not viable for him to invest further in it due to the delay in the shooting formalities and other commercial aspects.
The rumours further speculated that People’s Media Factory, a leading production house led by Vishwa Prasad, who is maintaining a close affinity with Pawan Kalyan in recent times, might take over the project and proceed with the production. There were also reports that Danayya and Vishwa Prasad met Pawan and discussed the modalities of these developments.
Putting an end to all ongoing rumours, the official X handle of DVV Entertainments categorically stated

This clarification from Danayya came as a sigh of relief to Pawan Kalyan’s fans because they pinned a lot of hopes on this gangster drama which has been the cynosure of everyone ever since it was launched last year.
The scintillating teaser evoked a stirring response as Pawan was portrayed in a never-before-seen vintage avatar with powerful and intense mannerisms.
The filming of OG was halted due to Pawan Kalyan’s busy political commitments. It is expected to resume once the assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh are done and dusted.
Directed by Sujeeth, the film has an ensemble cast.
