Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan was deeply moved by the passing of renowned martial arts guru and Tamil actor Shihan Hussaini. Expressing his deep sorrow, he shared an emotional tribute on social media.
Shihan Hussaini passed away battling cancer on the night of March 24. Paying his last tributes to his guru, Pawan Kalyan shared his personal connection and his deep bond with his mentor, highlighting Hussaini’s influence on his physical and mental discipline.
Honoring his legacy in martial arts, Pawan wrote, “My martial arts Guru ‘Shihan Hussaini’ a legendary martial artist and an exceptional archer, painter, sculptor, musician dedicated his life to promoting and revolutionizing martial arts and archery in India. And learning that, he spent his final moments watching my interview with Tanthi, just a day before his passing, deeply touched my heart. I was about to visit him on 29th but sad to hear he passed away yesterday night.”

Recalling his training under Shihan, he added, “The discipline and skills I learned under his guidance shaped me both physically and mentally. His intense training instilled in me the courage and determination that continue to guide me. His legacy in martial arts archery and in fine arts will always be remembered. His contributions to martial arts and archery will be remembered forever, and his teaching will inspire the future. My heartfelt condolences to his family and my fellow students and to my other senior senseis. One final ‘Hoyz’ to my dear respected Shihan.
