Tollywood star-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan, once known for commanding record-breaking remuneration, has now dedicated his full time to Andhra Pradesh politics. With his busy political commitments taking center stage, the actor has been unable to focus on his film projects, many of which remain incomplete.

Among those pending ventures, Hari Hara Veera Mallu holds a special place. Directed by Jyothi Krishna and produced by A.M. Ratnam. Despite the initial excitement, the project has been plagued by delays for nearly four years, leading to a massive spike in production costs.

Recently, there was a glimmer of hope for fans as the makers announced June 12 as the release date. However, latest industry reports suggest that the film might face another setback. With visual effects (CG) work still unfinished, the release is likely to be postponed to July. This development comes as a fresh blow to the producer, who has already invested heavily in the film over the years.

In commendable and genuine action, Pawan Kalyan has purportedly chosen to help the producer in financial crises. According to inside reports, actor Pawan Kalyan is going to give back the ₹11 crore advance he had taken for the film, acknowledging the pressure of A.M. Ratnam has put on the project.

This move by Pawan is being widely appreciated in industry circles, as it reflects his commitment and respect for the people who stood by him. After investing five years of faith, time, and resources into Veera Mallu, Ratnam’s patience may finally be rewarded—with a bit of support from the very hero he believed in.
