Amaravati: Pawan Kalyan, the leader of Jana Sena, declared that the time has come to rid Andhra Pradesh of the plague that has plagued it for the past four years, symbolically burning the negativity and evil in a bonfire during the Sankranthi celebrations at Mandadam, organized by Telugu Desam and Jana Sena. Sharing the stage with former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan praised the farmers who sacrificed their land for Amaravati, the capital, and for the five crore people of Andhra Pradesh. He assured that their sacrifices would not be in vain, emphasizing that TDP and Jana Sena are committed to working diligently to fulfil the purpose for which the farmers made their sacrifices.
Pawan Kalyan criticized the government for allegedly not taking substantial steps to address the concerns of farmers in the state, asserting that the ruling party merely uses the term “farmers” without effectively addressing their issues. He highlighted the challenges faced by farmers during the YSRCP regime and expressed empathy for the hardships faced by the people of the state.
Pawan Kalyan stated that the meeting between TDP and Jana Sena was prompted by witnessing the suffering and tears of the people. Additionally, he alleged that the YSRCP was conspiring to regain power, and TDP and Jana Sena had thwarted several such conspiracies aimed at preventing their collaboration.
