Powerstar Pawan Kalyan took a break from film-related activities after wrapping up his last outing ‘Bro’ a couple of months ago. He embarked on a political yatra in Andhra Pradesh and toured many constituencies to vigorously campaign for the upcoming elections. During this gap, many rumours surfaced in the media that his upcoming films have been put on hold temporarily.
Now, Pawan is back in Hyderabad. He is currently taking rest to rejuvenate himself after hectic political tours. The latest talk on the film nagar street is that Pawan will resume shooting for his upcoming films very soon. He has reportedly allotted bulk dates for director Sujeeth’s gangster drama ‘OG’. He will shoot continuously in October and November for this much-anticipated film.
Reportedly, Pawan wants to wrap up a major part of his role in ‘OG’ with these two schedules. Meanwhile, he might also resume shooting for Harish Shankar’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh in a few days. After shooting for a week in Summer, Pawan didn’t return to the sets of this film due to his busy schedule. Harish Shankar has been making all efforts to take the project forward. He is hoping that Pawan will shoot for at least a couple of weeks in September before moving to Sujeeth’s film.
On the other side, there is no word on Pawan’s long-delayed project Hari Hara Veera Mallu. The filming was halted long back due to creative issues.
Overall, it looks like OG will be finished by the end of the year. It will hit the screens in Summer 2024. Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Hari Hara Veera Mallu might get delayed further.
