Thursday, November 21, 2024

After balancing film shoots and politics for several years, actor and politician Pawan Kalyan decided to dedicate his full time for political activities in September last year and halted his shootings abruptly after the dramatic arrest of the then Opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu. Since then, Pawan has been fully occupied with his commitments to Janasena party. After the victory of NDA in recent elections, he became the Deputy CM of the state and also a cabinet minister. So, he turned very busy with his political activities.

As he committed three projects long back, all his producers have been waiting for his return to sets to wrap up the pending portions. Recently, he promised them to allot dates despite his busy political activities and complete the remaining shootings as soon as possible. He directed his producers to erect sets near Amaravati so that he can manage both his ministerial duties and shootings.

The latest update is that Pawan Kalyan has alloted dates to his long delayed period drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu. He will resume shooting from September 23rd and will complete his part in the next twenty days. He will shoot in the morning and will oversee his political commitments later in the evening.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu was initially directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. Due to some creative differences and inordinate delay, he backed out from the project last year. Producer AM Ratnam’s son Jyothi Krishna came on board to complete the remaining part. The entire shooting part be wrapped in the next two months. The team is planning to release the film in the first quarter of next year.

On the other side, the producers of remaining two films OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh are also waiting for Pawan Kalyan’s arrival. He is likely to allot dates for both these films after completing Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
