The Andhra Pradesh government has given a significant boost to the makers of NTR Jr.’s highly anticipated pan-India action drama, Devara. The government approved a hike in ticket prices and allowed additional shows at both single screens and multiplexes across the state. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s production house, NTR Arts, one of the key backers of Devara, publicly thanked Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for their timely and supportive gesture through their official X (formerly Twitter) handle.
In his response, Pawan Kalyan expressed by tweeting, “NDA Govt in AP under the leadership of Hon CM Sri @ncbn garu will always want the best to happen for Telugu film industry, irrespective of political affiliations of individuals.” Pawan went on to say that he personally knows the hardship of filmmakers and actors and what they had gone through during the YCP regime. He concluded his tweet by extending his best wishes to Team Devara. “I am wishing you very best for your film release,”.
Devara is indeed shaping up to be an exciting project with a star-studded cast, including NTR Jr., Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor. Directed by Koratala Siva, known for his successful films, this action drama is highly anticipated.
Produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Mikkilineni Sudhakar, and Kosaraju Hari Krishna, the film’s combination of talent and production values is likely to attract a wide audience. With its global release on September 27.
NDA Govt in AP under the leadership of Hon CM Sri @ncbn garu will always want the best to happen for Telugu film Industry, irrespective of political affiliations of individuals. We respect that. But we will never stoop down like YCP Govt troubling film makers and actors.
