Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s much awaited gangster action drama OG is geared up for a worldwide theatrical release on September 25. With the countdown begun, fan frenzy has hit new heights. Adding to the hype, the producers hosted a starry pre-release event, OG Concert, on Sunday night, where Pawan Kalyan’s thunderous speech was the showstopper.
The star captivated the audience when he shared some of the most powerful dialogues from the film, completely mesmerizing the fans. While the AP Deputy Chief Minister is currently running a very busy schedule, this was a welcome break for Pawan, while the fans rather were delighted to see him in full energy and spirits on that stage.
During his speech, Pawan lauded the film’s director, Sujeeth, for his dedication and passion. “Sujeeth’s admiration for me is incredible. Once, He once tied the headscarf from my film Johnny and didn’t remove it for a month. His mother scolded him and forced him to take it off. That kind of passion drove him to become a filmmaker, leading to projects like Saaho. Trivikram introduced him to me, and I realized his storytelling style is unique — he narrates the story in fragments, describing scenes, characters, and even the 80s era vibes. But on set, his true brilliance shines through. He is extraordinary,” Pawan said.
Pawan also emphasized the collaborative effort behind OG, giving credit where it’s due. “In this film, the real stars are the director and the writer. Sujeeth deserves full credit for bringing the story alive. And to elevate the film, Thaman’s music helps to ensure that it shines. Everyone was embarking on their own creative journey and I had the chance to take part.”
