Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan described his brother, Megastar Chiranjeevi, as a “born warrior” while responding to the actor’s post marking 47 years since the release of his debut film Pranam Khareedu. He asserted that retirement does not apply to Chiranjeevi, recalling fond memories of the film’s release.
Pawan Kalyan shared that he watched Pranam Khareedu at Kanaka Mahal theatre in Nellore while still a student and cherished the joy it brought him. Praising Chiranjeevi’s 47-year journey, he said his brother has grown in every aspect yet retained his humility and commitment to helping others. He prayed for Chiranjeevi’s health and success, adding that he looks forward to seeing him in more diverse roles.
Though Punadi Rallu was Chiranjeevi’s first film as a lead, Pranam Khareedu released earlier, introducing him to Telugu audiences.
