Amaravati: Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging him to investigate an alleged scam in the distribution of house sites and construction of homes for the poor in Andhra Pradesh.
In a 5-page letter, Pawan Kalyan accused the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy-led government of misappropriating thousands of crores of public funds, particularly in the acquisition of land for the housing project. He emphasized a financial misappropriation of Rs 35,141 crore and highlighted concerns about artificially inflated land prices, leading to minimal compensation for landowners and alleged financial gains for ruling party leaders.
