Pawan Kalyan fights on Drug Mafia in OG

Director Sujeeth’s previous outing Saaho might have fallen short of the high expectations and ended as a box office flop. But, that doesn’t deter his confidence as he is pulling all the stops to make a solid comeback with his next offering OG, which stars his favourite actor Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. Starting from the first-look posters to the recently released glimpse, Sujeeth set a very high bar for himself with this gangster drama.

The scintillating glimpse dropped enough hints that Pawan Kalyan will be seen as a ruthless gangster who returns to Mumbai to take revenge. Now, a strong buzz about the film’s storyline is making rounds all over. Reportedly, it is heard that though OG is a full-length commercial potboiler, the story will address a burning issue that is prevalent in present-day society.

Sujeeth, as per the buzz, is going to address the drug menace through OG. It is a known fact that drug mafia is one of the major issues that has been plaguing society in recent times. Mumbai has been the brooding ground for the drug mafia for years now. Even Pawan Kalyan also raised his voice over the rampant drug peddling in Andhra Pradesh during his political tours on behalf of Janasena.

As Pawan is now actively into politics, it is of no wonder if Sujeeth laced a social issue with his script to make this a social entertainer with loads of action and drama. He might want to deliver a strong message while presenting Pawan in his trademark avatar that will wow his fans.

The filming of OG will be completed by the end of this year. We have to wait till next year to see if this buzz turns out to be true or not.
