Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has strongly denounced the attack on Chilkur Balaji Temple’s chief priest, Rangarajan. Expressing deep concern, he emphasized that this was not just a personal attack but an assault on Sanatana Dharma.
Taking to social media platform X, Pawan Kalyan voiced his outrage over the incident, calling it unfortunate and unacceptable. He highlighted Rangarajan’s relentless efforts in preserving temple traditions, heritage, and sanctity for decades.
He has stated, “I am quite disturbed by the mob attack on Chilkur Balaji Temple’s chief priest, Rangarajan Garu. That is not merely an attack on an individual; it is actually an attack on Dharma. Shocking as it is that the group calling themselves from ‘Ramarajya’ was behind this incident. I want the police to take up serious investigation into this and ensure proper action against these culprits.”.
Pawan Kalyan also appealed to the Telangana government to take it seriously and provide justice. Recalling his past discussions with Rangarajan on temple administration and Sanatana Dharma protection, he said that such values should be followed. He further said that such a movement was necessary for the temples and called upon people to unite against such incidents.
