New Delhi: Six individuals coordinated a major security breach in the Indian Parliament, deploying smoke canisters inside and outside the Lok Sabha. The breach has prompted investigations into the effectiveness of security measures. According to the reports, only two intruders obtained entrance passes through BJP MP Pratap Sinha’s office. Four individuals, Sagar Sharma, D Manoranjan, Neelam Devi, and Amol Shinde, have been arrested, raising concerns about potential accomplices.
It is said that the group, known to each other for four years, meticulously planned the breach and conducted reconnaissance of the Parliament complex. While there is no evidence of radicalization, the involvement of arrested individuals underscores the need for enhanced security protocols. Neelam Devi, active in the 2020 farmers’ protest, is not affiliated with any political party.
