Parasuram is back to his forte with Devarakonda’s film

Director Parasuram Petla has a knack for writing humorous one-liners that will tickle the funny bone of moviegoers to the fullest. Entertainment is usually the driving factor in his films. He delivered blockbuster hits like Anjaneyulu, Solo, and Geetha Govindham. His sensible writing in these films played a significant role in making them big hits at the box office.

In Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaruvaari Paata, Parasuram failed to handle the commercial elements convincingly and came up with a half-baked entertainer that received mixed opinions. Now, the Geetha Govindham director is back to his forte with the upcoming Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal Thakur starrer. The regular shooting of this film started rolling recently.

In this film, which is tentatively titled Family Man, Parasuram is going back to his favourite genre – a romantic entertainer with family drama. He has reportedly penned superb characters for the lead pair. He wants to deliver a proper wholesome entertainer like Geetha Govindham and make a solid comeback with this film.

The conversations between Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal will pack a punch in theatres. Dil Raju is producing this film which is targeting Sankranthi 2024 release.
